Comprehensive Packaging Strategy and Approvals
Supports clients packaging strategy (durable vs expendable/ supplier owned vs customer owned vs pool). Establish customer packaging & labelling standards and issue to supply base. Establish approval process for supplier shipped packaging and conduct approval on parts shipped for early builds. For customer packaging, calculate volume requirements and source to packaging supplier(s). Provide engineering support for packaging design & development. Establish requirements for and source and engineer in-house packaging. Carry out in-house packaging approvals. Establish requirements for and source and engineer finished goods packaging. Carry out in-house packaging approvals (in conjunction with finished good customers).

Standards and Quality Assurance in Packaging
Provide standards needed to support part quality and to ensure packaging will fit on in plant stock storage equipment. Ensures sufficient packaging procured to fill system including buffers and to cover variations in transit times. Well designed in-house and finished goods packaging to avoid quality issues.
